AUTHOR BIO

I am an author and a journalist, a Master of Public Administration, a mother, a knitter, a skier, and an adventurer. And I'd like to share it all with you. I was born and raised in Colorado, became an Oregon Duck, am a former Jackson Hole Mountain Resort Ski Instructor, and a New York City survivor.



I love finding stories in our past that reflect our present in hopes of a new future. I am a member of the Colorado Authors League and Women Writing the West and have published non-fiction articles and poetry in local newspapers and national magazines. My first book, Breastfeeding is a Bitch, But We Loving Do it Anyway, a non-fiction memoir, was awarded an IndieBrag Medallion, has been translated into Spanish, and has been well received by freaked out new moms around the world.
